| BATTLETECH In the late 28th century, the Star League collapsed and the Successor States were born. For the last three hundred years, these mortal enemies have fought over space, land and politics, but now a new threat looms just outside the Inner Sphere. The descendants of an old Star League general-the Clans-have come to take what they believe is rightfully theirs. They have been bred into the best military force humanity has ever seen. The Clans have come to stay, and the Successor States must put aside their differences or face total destruction. Foremost among the weapons used in this struggle are BattleMechs. Loaded with autocannons, missile launchers, lasers, and charged-particle beam weapons, these fusion-powered war machines of articulated armor stand upward of ten meters high. Piloting them are MechWarriors, the best, most intensively trained men and women available. Like the armored knights of an earlier age, MechWarriors are popular heroes, and their exploits are the stuff of legends.

My software works on Windows 95+ although 95 and 98 machines may be missing some windows dll's. The necessary dll's are included on the disk (and in the Complete Download) and instructions on what to do to add them to your system are in a word document (also included).
The programs attempts to use the full available screen size and if you don't
have your taskbar hideable it may obscure some of the screen. To make your
taskbar hideable, right click on an empty part of it, click properties and
select "Auto-hide" and "Always on top". (The actual text
may be different, depending on your system, but the meaning will be the same.)
This will hide your taskbar when you are not using it, to reshow it just pull
your mouse to the bottom of the screen. |
